Bask in graceful safari style only steps from one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Sweeping Zambezi River and savannah views stretch from every veranda as you relax in elegance.
Wake up to the sight of zebras wandering the Livingstone hotel grounds. Raise a glass at sunset to the marvellous waterfall thundering to its depths as you recline in style. Surrender to relaxation with spa therapies under the shade of monkey trees on the banks of the river.
The Royal Livingstone is located on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, with free unlimited access to Victoria Falls for all resort guests..
Experience the luxury of Anantara in an African paradise. Wildlife roam the hotel freely, offering unforgettable up-close encounters. Embrace the explorer life with indigenous design accents complemented by modern amenities and discreet butler services at one of the leading hotels in Livingstone Zambia.
The main hotel is a sequence of thatch roofed buildings, most of them African in their influence, which incorporate the lounge, restaurant, and bar. A classic swimming pool visually links the waters of the river with the terraces of the hotel, with a sweeping timber deck planted in the swirling waters of the Zambezi. The Sun Deck is a lovely area built directly over the Zambezi, and affording views of the Falls, is a favourite for light lunches and early evening drinks.
Accommodation is in 173 spacious en-suite rooms: 113 with twin beds, and 54 with king-size beds. Each room has its private veranda. Three suites offer a separate lounge and bedroom, while the Presidential Suite offers an additional, optional separate bedroom. There are two rooms with disabled facilities. All guestrooms are elegantly decorated, each room has large beds with white linen, satellite television, air-condition, mini bar, mini safe, telephone, tea, and coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms are in Victorian style with a shower and a bath.
There is a large range of activities on offer near Victoria Falls that can be arranged at an additional cost by the hotel. These include game viewing, bungee jumping, white water rafting, helicopter flights, horse riding, the gorge swing and many more.
Guests staying at this iconic hotel will be able to enjoy use of the onsite spa, as well as massages beside the Zambezi River. With the Victoria Falls a mere five-minute walk away, guests will be able to hear the spray and roar of water as they explore the beautiful grounds. One of the most unforgettable experiences is a helicopter or microlight flight over the Falls where guests will get panoramic views and a real view of just how mighty it is.
There is also a Conference Centre which has capacity for up to 12 people. The meeting room is well equipped and features a large mahogany table with leather backed chairs and wooden panelling.
