9 en-suite double rooms. Exceptional game viewing – big 5, bird viewing, reptile sightings. Forms part of the greater Kruger national park which is 3.5mha. Areas of the Kruger park were first proclaimed protected by the government in 1898. Many of these animals would have never encountered a fence, as they exist free ranging in this vast corner of africa. The land was acquired by the notten’s in 1963 and first explored in 1879. The lodge notten’s bush camp was started in 1986. It is now in its fourth generation with the notten family. The climate in the area is subtropical with summer days humid and hot. Where in winter is cooler and dry. This is a malaria area. Game vehicles consist of open top landcruisers and are used twice a day for game drives. Limited lighting. Although there are charging points and air conditioning.
