Inzalo Safari Lodge is an intimate tented oasis in the spectacular Welgevonden Game Reserve, a vast 34 000 ha ‘Big Five’ protected wilderness within the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere of South Africa’s scenic Limpopo Province.

A 2.5-hour drive or a 45-minute flight from Johannesburg into one of the reserve’s two airstrips, makes the Welgevonden one of the most accessible premier malaria-free reserves in the country.

Inzalo Lodge, a Zulu name suggesting “to be reborn”, is situated along the Sterkstroom River, where each of the five luxurious tented safari suites provides panoramic views of the river and Waterberg sandstone cliff beyond.

The main lodge is an airy and welcoming retreat, with large open spaces extending onto an expansive deck and bar area with spectacular views.

Each suite has been positioned to provide maximum privacy and breath-taking views, with room features including a private deck with splash pool, outdoor showers, well-stocked bar fridge and more.
