Welcome to Tshukudu Bush Lodge, an intimate sanctuary nestled away on its own private concession in the heart of the malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park.
Just a two-hour drive from Johannesburg, this beautiful retreat is well known for its picturesque topography and extensive plains teeming with wildlife.
The lodge and its ten chalets are wrapped high upon the contours of a rocky outcrop giving it panoramic views of the grasslands and waterhole below – ideal for game viewing throughout the day. To reach the cottages, guests are required to climb 132 steps which makes the area inaccessible to the physically challenged.
Other than what to wear, you do not need to pack a thing because guests stay on a fully inclusive basis, which consists of breakfast, high tea and dinner prepared to perfection, select local beverages and two daily game drives with our experienced ranger on a private game vehicle.
The lodge’s location makes it an unbeatable destination for a quick romantic getaway, an intimate honeymoon, or an exclusive venue for a small wedding or corporate breakaway.
Tshukudu is renowned for it’s intimate setting, tranquil and superb personalized service.
Children under 12 years are not allowed. The lodge facilities do not include radios, telephone, cell phone signal or televisions.
All six chalets have one double bed, open plan lounge with fireplace, sunken bath, fully stocked mini-bar, bird books, magazines, as well as plug points, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.
The four Tshukudu Suites all have a Queen bed, open plan lounge with fireplace, bath, indoor and outdoor shower, fully stocked mini-bar, bird books, magazines, as well as plug points, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.
It is truly spectacular; a place where guests can escape the world and just relax, unwind and breathe in the glories of nature.
