Jaci’s Safari Lodge is where it all began – Jan and Jaci’s original “glamping” lodge embraced all they loved about camping, adventuring and exploring the wilds of Southern Africa, with all the creature comforts! To this day, the lodge offers a refreshing, authentic safari space in which to unwind. Here, guests can experience some of Africa’s most impressive wildlife from our eclectic, down-to-earth bushveld haven.

The Jaci’s Safari Lodge Main Lodge features an impressively spacious, open-plan lounge, a glorious copper fireplace and bar, chef’s kitchen, and dining areas – all proudly reflecting our trademark colourful decor and customary South African atmosphere.

With thatched roofs, low stone walls, private outside showers and viewing decks, canvas roll-up panels and large hand-mosaiced baths, the spacious Tented Suites seamlessly let the outdoors in. This a great option for families as it is very child friendly with lots of activities to keep children busy all day!

Decorated in vibrant colours and African textures, each of the six double-occupancy safari-tent-style suites are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Jaci’s Safari lodge also boasts two Starbed Suites which are the epitome of private, exclusive romantic safari accommodation. Set over two levels, these luxury suites are ideal for honeymooners and special occasions.

With a choice of sleeping indoors or under the African sky, each suite boasts two king-size beds, outdoor showers and indoor bathrooms, as well as lounge areas, a safari bar and viewing deck.

Each suite comes with a large indoor bath, private outdoor shower and viewing deck, air-conditioner and ceiling fan as well as eco-friendly Afriearth amenities.

The lodge offers an array of activities which include BIG 5 safaris, photographic safaris, wedding safaris, conservation safaris, safari walks, bird watching, bush boules, river path walks as well as spa treatments. Guests also have access to a Terrapin hide where they can relax and enjoy sightings of animals coming to the waterhole for a drink!
